TOUCH HOME ENTERTAINMENT was founded in 2009 by ASHTON BLESSING and GREGORY "SKIP" BURNS. The two like-minded individuals met while attending FULL SAIL UNIVERSITY in WINTER PARK, FLORIDA. BURNS hailing from LEXINGTON, NC began his entertainment career as a rapper with the locally successful rap group HIGHLEE GIFTED. The Hip Hop act performed several shows around the PIEDMONT TRIAD area of NORTH CAROLINA. Culminating with an appearance on SHOWTIME AT THE APOLLO. After recording an album with an independent record label that never took off BURNS turned his attention to the silver screen. Having always had a passion for the silver screen the progression was natural. So BURNS quit his job and moved to FLORIDA to attend FULL SAIL UNIVERSITY. There he met ASHTON BLESSING. ASHTON and GREG quickly became friends. BLESSING formally a resident of Philadelphia, PA uprooted and moved to Wilmington, NC where he started his career in the entertainment industry. At the early age of 15, BLESSING found his passion for film when he took one of his short stories and brought it life through the lens of a camera. After graduating at FULL SAIL UNIVERSITY, BLESSING started working in the accounting department on big budget movies such as Nights In Rodanthe, The Lovely Bones, and East Bound and Down. Wanting more of a creative input on projects, he decided to purchase his own equipment. With that purchase the foundation of TOUCH HOME ENTERTAINMENT was laid. A love of film, storytelling, and music has provided great motivation for the company. Driven towards innovation. Touch Home hopes to inspire, enlighten, and entertain the audience with its unique brand of creativity. |
